  • Assisted retail tenant in obtained recovery of loss sustained as a result of fire at a shopping center.
  • Defended carriers in multiple coverage actions involving underlying losses under truckers’ liability policies.
  • Represented truckers’ liability insurer in successfully prosecuting fraud and breach of contract claims against former managing general agent.
  • Received unanimous decision from California Supreme Court enforcing arbitration clause in disability insurance policy.
  • Defended workers’ compensation insurer in multi-million dollar coverage lawsuit concerning whether multiple injuries suffered by a worker constituted a single occurrence under the policy.
  • Represented life insurance company in action concerning alleged fraud in marketing and sale of employee welfare benefit plan.
  • Defended insurer in billing dispute with panel counsel.
  • Represented litigant in dispute with state government regarding escheated property.
  • Obtained trial verdict dismissing breach of contract and bad faith claims involving alleged loss of $6 million dollars of computer equipment in coverage action in American Samoa.
